Molly turned 5 months old yesterday! Holy cow! This is going by way too fast. We are loving every minute of it though. As for some updates on Molly:
*Molly loves to smile, especially for her daddy. Sometimes she'll be watching me just staring and as soon as I turn to look at her she just smiles so big. It's so fun to know that she knows I'm here.
*Molly can move around now. I left her on the bed a couple weeks ago so I could just check my email really fast and by the time I was done (within about 2 minutes) I turned and looked and her feet were dangling off the bed. She scoots all over the place (usually only backwards) and rolls over front to back, back to front like crazy. Her playmat I have for her (from her wonderful Aunt Heather) is of little use anymore, as she only stays on it for about 30 seconds before she's all over the living room floor. I guess I need to start vacuuming more often.
*Molly started solids (Well, baby rice and baby foods... which aren't really solid) The Dr told her we could start her anytime after 4 months. We were going to wait until she was 5 or 6 months, but we decided to give it a try to see if it would help with her putting on some weight ;) She did and is doing so well. It's strange what her favorites are though. So far she likes Carrots the best and makes "mmm" sounds when eating them.
*Three out of four nights so far this week, Molly has only woken up 1 or 2 times during her 10 hour night.. which is soo much better then every two hours. I might get some sleep yet.
*Molly still is exploring her tongue. She loves to stick it out, chew on it, and make raspberry noises.
*Molly knows what her binky is and can put it in her mouth by herself now. It's usually not the right way, but sometimes she gets lucky and it ends up right.
We don't have any weight or height updates, as she doesn't go back to the Dr until next month. I'll also try to get our Christmas pictures posted soon. Until then, here's some cute pictures of Molly from the last month.
