Molly has grown so much! She is so fun to be with. She has been laughing for the last couple weeks. It's not a big laugh, but it's so cute! She is a very smiley baby as well. Only when I don't catch on to the hints that she's hungry or the hints that she's tired does she start crying to let me know she either needs to go to sleep or eat.
We took her to the Dr on Tuesday and everything seems to be going well. She does have a little yeast infection and minor eczema. She still has a clogged eye duct as well, which means her eye tears up all the time. It's usually gooped up closed every morning and I have to soak it for a minute with a warm wet washcloth. She's so good though and just sits there patiently until it's cleaned and she can open it and look around. The Dr said they don't usually worry about that until 10-12 months of age if she still has it because it usually goes away by then. She has had it since she was born. If it doesn't get better there is a really minor surgery that they can do on it to fix it. We're hoping it gets better on it's own though.
Here's her 2 and 4 month stats:
Length-
2 months: 23.3 inches- 82 percentile
4 months: 25 inches- 75 percentile
Weight-
2 months: 10.69 lbs 44 percentile
4 months: 12.83 lbs 29 percentile
The Dr said we will need to watch her weight since it went down in percentile and told us our homework was to see what type of eaters we were at her age and how big we were. My mom couldn't remember... but Keith's mom said that he was pretty close to the same as Molly's eating habits and size. Molly nurses well, but she will only eat for 5 minutes at a time and is still eating every two hours, even during the night, which isn't always the funnest. The Dr said not too worry about it too much, and we'll see where she's at when we come back in two months.
I've resorted to letting Molly sleep in my bed, which I swore I would never do. I put her to sleep in her crib to start out with (so she gets used to sleeping in there somewhat), but then when she wakes up hungry about 2 hours after I put her down, then I just bring her to bed with me. We both get more sleep that way, instead of having to get up and feed her and reput her to bed every two hours, I just nurse her in bed and then we both fall back asleep without a peep from her. I was feeling a little bit cheated hearing that most people's babies are sleeping a good 6-8 hour stretch by now, but when the Dr told me it's good that she's still eating every two hours at night since she's not nursing long, then it made me not feel quite as frustrated (though I do miss my sleep).
Molly has been rolling over really well (both belly to back and back to belly) by the time she was 3 months old. She already is trying to crawl. She will put her knees under her chest over and over but needs to figure out what to do with her arms, so it will probably be a little longer. She is also starting to have periods of time where she just wants to sit and play with her toys all by herself. It's fun to listen and watch her play.
I guess I'd better get this posted. I started writing this over a week ago and have so much more to catch up on! Here's a few pictures from the last while.

Aww she is SO cute! (I like your bangs btw) Harvey is doing the same thing with his weight. Started at 75% and now is somewhere between 15 & 20 % But it's bigger than anyone in my family was so I can't complain too much.
Anyways. Molly is adorable. You guys seem like you are doing a great job. :)
Ahh, she is like a pretty version of Keith. How odd that that could happen.
