Baby Blessing

Molly got her baby blessing from her dad on September 6th. It was a wonderful blessing. We're so lucky to have her :) She however didn't seem to be a fan of church yet. I tried feeding her 1/2 hour before church started so that she would be full through sacrament meeting, but she wouldn't eat. She however decided about 5 minutes before we were supposed to leave that she did want to eat. I hurried and fed her, but we ended up being 5-10 minutes late. She then was fussy and screaming through most of the first part of sacrament. They then announced she would be getting her blessing, before sacrament. We had planned on her getting it after the sacrament was passed, like they had done every single other time in our ward that I remember. So when they announced it, I was out in the hall with Molly. We brought her in and as soon as Keith started giving her the blessing she got quiet. She was quiet the rest of sacrament. I guess she just wanted her daddy :)

We were lucky to have family and friends come. We think Molly must have been nervous for this big day, as she broke out with her baby acne the day before. Here's a couple pictures from the blessing day. We didn't get too many as she was getting fussy again, and she didn't like being in that dress. Also, I was a lousy parent and forgot our camera. Luckily my sister had hers, but was out of memory and only had enough for a couple pictures.

A couple days before her blessing, we decided to try the dress on. I wanted to make sure it wasn't way to big, or too small, plus I just wanted to see how she looked in it. I also thought it would be a good time to take some "Just Molly" blessing pictures for her to have down the road. However, she decided she didn't like the dress and was screaming until the second I took it off. She however didn't mind the rest of the outfit, so we got a couple pictures of her blessing outfit, minus the dress ;)
